Compulsory uniform requirements

School uniform is compulsory and all children must wear it. Children feel that they belong and it gives them an identity and a sense of belonging to our school.

School Uniform is:

  • Grey school trousers, shorts, skirts or pinafores
  • White shirt/blouse or polo shirt
  • Red jumper or cardigan with the school logo (available to order online from our online supplier)
  • Plain black school shoes (no boots or trainers)
  • Either white or dark coloured socks or tights (no bright or patterned  allowed)
  • A red t-shirt and black shorts for PE.
  • Optional: Red & white checked dress in the summer

* Leggings are not allowed, should parents wish to cover their child’s legs, tights and trousers are to be worn

Uniforms are ordered online, details of this can be sought from our school office. We do have a small amount of uniform available for your child to try on so you can be sure you are ordering the correct size. It is important that you clearly label your child’s uniform with their name. We encourage children to look after their own belongings and try to ensure that all items of lost property are returned to their owners.

Jewellery and nail varnish are not allowed in school. Children may wear a watch and if they have pierced ears they may wear studs.  We will ask you to remove any unsuitable earrings in the interests of safety. We ask that all children with long hair- male or female, tie their hair back, this is to avoid the spread of head lice and to minimise any risks when playing out or doing PE. Extreme hairstyles, such as shaved patterns, spikes or extreme hair colours, are not allowed. Children who arrive in school with inappropriate hairstyles will be sent home and asked to rectify it before they return.
