LO-Round numbers to the nearest ten

 

Today I would like you to round two digit numbers to the nearest ten. Here is the general rule for rounding: If the number you are rounding has a 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 in the ones column, then you round the number up. If the number has a 1, 2, 3 or 4 in the ones column, then we round the number down. 

 

For example, 38 to the nearest ten = 40

                      22 to the nearest ten = 20
