Today we are learning about sequencing daily events like yesterday's learning. We will learn about the time of these daily events. Such as o'clock. Listen to the song about the time. 

 

Discuss with your child: What is time? How do we tell the time? What do we use time for? 

What's the Time?

o'clock

Look at the image above of a clock. Read the numbers in a clockwise direction. Discuss the use of the hands. The long hand is the minutes, the shorter hand is the hour.

Explain when the minutes hand is on 12 it mean o'clock.

 

Like the image above. 1 o'clock. You could use a clock in your house to practise making o'clock. 

Look at the daily routine cards above. What happens at 7 o'clock? 8 o'clock?
