BERO: Building Emotional Resilience Outdoors.
BERO is an Outdoor Learning intervention that provides children with key skills to develop confidence and emotional resilience. Mrs Thomas and Mrs Fish run the weekly intervention by taking the children to an external outdoor location. During the session the children learn ways to manage anxiety and overcome confidence issues. The children get the opportunity to work alongside other children, build new relationships, take risks and lead their own learning whilst valuing the wellbeing benefits of being outdoors.
