Children's Mental Health Week
For Children's Mental Health Week, we explored the theme, 'This is My Place.' We discussed what makes our school a place where we feel safe, valued and happy.
Mayoral Chambers
Our School Council visited the Mayor in his new Mayoral Chambers. The children impressed us all with their insightful questions and enjoyed a guided tour of the new facilities.
RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch
Our Planet Protectors made bird feeders to encourage w wider variety of birds into our environment. This was in preparation for the Big Garden Birdwatch.

Year 1 Castleshaw Trip
The children in Magpies and Robins class enjoyed a trip to the Castleshaw Centre where they looked for a range of different habitats in the local environment and even tried pond dipping!
Nursery Upside Down Day
Biodiversity Enrichment Day
Our Enrichment Day was themed around Biodiversity. The children learnt all about the importance of biodiversity in our environment; how plants and animals rely on each other and we even planted so new flowers to encourage a richer variety of mini-beasts to our area.
